Young Latina Leadership and Mentoring Program

The Latina Center and the Domestic Violence Prevention Program of The City of Berkeley Public Health Department are aware of the great value and potential of young Latinas, as well as the multiple problems and barriers they face.

The Young Latina Leadership and Mentoring Program was developed with the purpose of providing leadership training for young Latinas together with support to accomplish their academic goals. This program is currently being implemented with students from Berkeley High School and the Berkeley Alternative High School.
